I did make a paperweight on Sunday with three squares of color (solids blue, purple, green). I did the first gather and coned it on the marver and came right down on the green, melted a bit and shaped with a graphite marver. I did a second small gather and coned it and picked up the purple, melted and shaped. Third gather for the blue. Did a small gather over the blue. Then dipped in deep to encase the whole thing in clear. It is a really cool effect. The squares just floating inside. There are some bubbles from picking up the color. Maybe heat them next time. Also ran into some scum coming from the graphite marver, it left trails on the glass and some tiny bubbles too.
This is something to work on. Perhaps cut the glass into letters and make initials for some custom paperweights.
