Morning Zen

Good Morning Zen, your mission if you choose to accept it is to be. Just be.
I think often to the scene in the movie where the penguin says "Slide". Go inside to find that thing that gives you strength and nurture it. Be the green tree in the wind, soft and supple and bending, weather the storm. And if broken, grow again. Sprout fresh limbs and growth and set your roots deeper.

Morning Zen

Busy days. Remember wu we. When nothing is done nothing is left undone. Not do nothing, but do with grace.

Morning Zen

Wake up to find out you are the eyes of the world. Playing at coffee as a near full moon hangs in the morning sky sorounded by clouds of white reflecting pinks of the rising sun. Sounds of the day filling the still air.

Morning Zen

The moon fading through the shadow of the earth. Symbolic of what? Harbringer of what? Our personal connections to the earth ...

Tao Cafe

I am really digging the Tao Cafe. It is off 2nd street in Edmond, west of Bryant, just north and west of the Target.

Rice Box $5.25. Bamboo shoots with pork. rice, spring roll, wonton, and egg drop soup. Very tastey. Full meal.

Highly recommend

Morning Zen

The smell of bread baking in the morning is one of lifes most pleasurable experiences. Thinking in times gone by that breadstuffs cultural relevance to man and hearth and home.

Lunar eclipse tonight.

The Wedge

Rachel is the best waitress in the place. Ask for her if you go. Granted last night we sat at the counter.

Purple tomatoes with fresh homemade motzarella cheese with olive oil and balsamic with basil on top. Whew! Then the chef roasts some veggies. First time I have eaten aspergrass. and then he sets up a orange/yellow watermellon wrapped in goat cheese and prochutto.

The coffee was good too.
Outstanding evening dining on a Sunday night at 9:00 at the Wedge. It is one of very few places open on Sunday, let along open late.

Just wondering if i was teachable at 23. Today it seems i am selectively teachable. Entrenched in thought, philosophy and action willing to learn but giving up the old for the better new can be most diffcult.

Cafe Brazil

Brunch at the Cafe Du Brazil. Good stuff. The carnival Hangover. Eggs and chirizo. Taters, beans, and tortillas (excellent). The coffee was super.

Highly recommended.
