Movie Quote Friday

First correct answer gets a prize. Movie and Character.

"It would be nice to think that since I was 14, times have changed. Relationships have become more sophisticated. Females less cruel. Skins thicker. Instincts more developed. But there seems to be an element of that afternoon in everything that's happened to me since. All my romantic stories are a scrambled version of that first one."

Coffee Musings

My phone is dead, like the power in the house so this was written and typed in after the consumption of coffee as opposed to texting while enjoying the cup.
Holiday cheer wrapped in the colors of black and brown and white capping the wave of heat swirling in open vessels to create nirvana.
Sweet heat burns brightly around us now the festive sights and sounds and smells - the senses filling never overload with pleasures.
Gathering like penguins trying to stay warm? What did the Jajaweed do in Darfur? What HOPE is brought? A laptop for every child? Empty Bowls? How do we fill them, with what? Canstruction to inspire? Give to give selflessly.
The awareness of self is not forthcoming so impossible to be of the other?

Morning Zen

Delve. What is it at this time of year we can do for others? What do they need to complete their existence? What can we provide? Gifts, I was reading, to bring fulfillment to the other. Finding the perfect thing is nearly not possible. Finding a gift from the heart can be a task too.

23rd St. Tree

Driving to the Studio. Tragic. Across the metro there are many many more of these.

Morning Zen

I am not sure why it feels like everything stops when the weather happens and life is interrupted. Appointments forgotten. Events shifted. Funny. One thing changes and results in a domino effect of everything else in life. Perspective shift is really very helpful again in learning what it is that is important and what needs to done. Life is good.

Morning Zen

"Walk me out in the cold rain and snow my honey."
It is indeed. Beautiful tho. Tragic too with broken trees. Water is powerful. So the river into which we step anew is powerful. We forget sometimes to heed the power To be aware of just what it is and where it may take us. Letting loose into the stream and just flowing we may be delivered to a place. A place, know not where or what it will be but the journey there is abundant.
