Morning Zen

The separation. I am not sure when it started. Not sure if it is a socialital thing, a cultural thing, a "progress" result. Man vs. Nature. Man vs. Man. Man vs. Self. Novels are written. At times if feels I am so apart from nature. I do not look at the moon to see it's fullness. I look at a gadget on my computer desk top that shows 93% full. I do not notice the flowers in bloom consumed instead by the color of shoes that need to be shined. I notice the red in the traffic light instead of the reds of the sunset.

....it is but a place in life....in part a reflection of our experience....for each individual had some molding done along the way...what is important or noticable for one goes without notice by another. Gains and losses in life, years inclduded, change our perspectives ....the family, the community, the peers, the "social pressures", ....what we did in life from birth on...what we had in life....
we are fluid....dynamic....the experiences change throughout life...our perception, impressions, and so forth....you may consider a weekend in the Northwest....along the cliffs and pounding surf....the gulls, the pelicans, the orcas....nothing brings us back to life like the experiences of nature........the gadgets and shoes are simply distractions....the red lights, well, they also, are distractions....keep the colors of of the glass in focus....facing east at sunset...look in the mirror facing
west...or lay in the grassy meadow and watch the clouds....

best wishes..
happiness and harmony....
