Morning Zen

If it ain't broke... but it is broke but there is no idea how to fix it or even really if it needs to fixed. We know something is wrong. How to make it right? Put a patch here. change some wiring there. It should be all better...
We have an annealher down in the glass shop. It does make for a good analogy.

..at least one annealer broke and one that needs to be finished...
...sometimes we think things are broke which are not really broke...
..sometimes "broken" things didn't meet the expectation we had....sometimes relationships are "broken" from the perspective of one and not the other...the expectations were just different for the involved parties...
...and then there is out expectations of ourselves and the expectations we have of what others "think" of us...or what we think they expect of us....
an interesting perspective I read from a book a while back...."what others think of us is none of our business"....
so, we often are concerned with what others think of us when what matters is within us....not outside of us...
so, "it" probably isn't even broken....do we need to change wiring which is working for us or do we just need to redefine what our expecation of the "our wiring" is....a change in the "wiring" function or what we think it should be.
Patching only worked on the old tube type tires....patching is usually only a short term "repair" ....and not necessarily what will work in the long run....sometimes we lose confidence in our own judgement or decision making abilities because things we made decisions about in the past didn't work the way we thought.....so "rewiring" or "patching" may not be all that is needed...."rebuilding" from the ground up now and then....like a new environment....a change to overcome what does not seem to be working for us....
best wishes....
