Classic rock

Really classic? KRXO, when did guns and roses "knocking on heavens door" trump out Marley, clapton, or the dead?

When Clear Channel Radio said so, or so they say.

Tragic what constitutes for radio in this town. Tragic.

All hail Austin, Texas! and the few cities in this entire country that dare to play local bands (okay, KATT actually does this one night a week)and B-sides; mix Billie Holiday with Janis Joplin with James McMurtry with Ray Charles with Stevie Ray with Lyle Lovett and even the banned Dixie Chicks, oh my..... do not get me started....

Internet. KGSR. Treat yourself. Life is too short to listen to Clear Channel and Axel Rose. Wayyyyyyy too short.

and by the way, when was the last time you heard Janis Joplin or the Kinks on KRXO? are they not classic? The Clash was 20 years ago, 'London Calling' was truly revolutionary. 'Appetite for Destruction' is more of a classic? (please forgive, Gods of Rock, for putting the Clash and G&R in the same sentence.)
