Well, we just walked down Bourbon Street at midnight. It is a crazy place. It is such a forgien place to what I am acostomed too. It does make me grateful, indeed. The humidity here is a bit to much. It is not overwhelming but everything is really sticky.
Sleep now. tomorrow coffee and those little fried things pronounced ben-yea's.

New Orleans

Howdy, We are in New Orleans. All is well. We saw some great glass work today and some very cool glass tools. Hoping for a nice breakfast at Cafe Du Monde. More to come.

No Titles?

Well I thought I had titles. Maybe this morning they will work. The light rain is great. I have to do a map quest for a map to New Orleans.

Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is on. This is one movie that shaped me. Something about it was just so right. All of the characters, individuals, sterotypes. I was sort of like Brian, the geek. Not a brain but just a geek. I was sort of like Bender but not at all like that either. I was sort of like Andy, I swam and was not popular so I was not like him either. Clair - I really hate sushi. The other girl Alison, sort of Goth before people knew what Goth was. The pad thing is the tv station cuts all the good dialogue. I am not sure where I would have really fit in with all of that but it was a movie of my time and experience. Why is it the geek does not get a girl. The other two guys get a girl. Always the geek being left out. What kind of message does that send to the geeks? Heck in 16 Candles even Long Duck Dong got a girl, but the geek did not.
You all big fans? Favoriate scenes?

Dana, A meat pie is a sort of pie (think apple with nice thick crust) that is filled with meat and spices. We had the Mexican Pie last night. It was very tasty. It is a 9" pie. Angela and I ate about half of it so it could feed a family of four for dinner. It was $15.95. The flavor was tremendous. Just spicy enough but not too much. Red Velvet Bakery is down on Coltrane and Second in Edmond. That is also where I get the good cookies. Yesterday I got a rice krispy treat with icing on the top. Booya!

By the way. How do you all get the headings to top your posts? I am sure it is some cryptic HTML code that I do not yet know. Care to share so I can be cool like the rest of yous.

You all are probably sitting in class right now wondering, "how do we get out of here?" I do not know how you can get out of there.
I did get a hair cut today. It is very difficult to find a hair cut on a Monday. It is crazy. We had a nice morning glass blowing. It was nice and cool. A rare day in June. Should have worked out there all day.
I got a meat pie from the Red Velvet bakery dor dinner. I hope is it good.
