Morning Zen

It is not really the end of a weekend or the beginning of a week. It is the day and the moment. There is a group of people who individually live thier lives in 24 hour segments. One day. On occasion it is one hour, one 10 minutes, one minute, one breath. And so it is that today is this day. Waking at 11:00 in the a.m. does not make it as waste of day or a waste of time or a loss, or time that will never be recovered. It was dreams, it was nurturing the self, it was healing, it simply was. And this day anew. 24 hours. one breath. I think this was 2008.

Morning Zen

Wondering about stepping into the river. Have thought of that as a physical aspect. Stepping in and we go where it takes us. Our physical is where it is and life is what life is and doing and being. So stepping into the river and getting into the flow becomes an aspect of the spirit. In the flow so the body and mind will follow or do as they need to do in daily living and allow the spirit to soar.

Morning Zen

We are blessed. Even in tragedy and life and pain so often strength comes and people rise.

Morning Zen

Hurry up and wait. Feel so ready for the end of the week and yet I know it will be here all together too soon and then I will not have everything done that needs to be done. Getting there tho.

The rain is odd. It seems to be coming for a purpose. It is really very lovely.

Morning Zen

Renew. Take a moment throughout the day to renew the body and mind. Relax for a moment. Step outside and look toward the sun and let the warmth engulf your body. Let the sun reflect through your mind and cleanse the soul. Breathe for a moment and push out the stale. Be cleansed. Anew.

I am digging that. To be at one.

Morning Zen

Getting back into the flow. Sometimes it is not so bad to step out of the stream onto the bank for a little while and watch. Sometimes for me I do not even realize when I am there on the bank. Jumping back in with both feets.

Morning Zen

Wonder sometimes what is best. Which approach is the most logical and good. So often we just do not know and must try something just to see how it goes. Does not work. Try something other.

Morning Zen

Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. Maybe it is time to try something different. A small adjustment in method. Turning a block early to get on the otherside of the street. Setting the clock five minutes earlier so Snooze can be tapped again. Nothing major, just a change.

Morning Zen

It is the way that it is. I read somewhere that a fellow really disagreed with that statement. I think he was thinking of the change. Attitude and approach to the way it is. What can be done? When nothing is done, nothing is left undone. catch the wave

Morning Zen

Spiritual food. Thinking of manna, falling from the heavens and blessing the people. Food for the spirit, of the spirit. Making a plate of food for the spirit. Giving forth of the bounty of our daily living.

Morning Zen

Horoscope today talking about nutrition, eat right and stay healthy. Spiritually we are what we eat. What do we consume in a spiritual way? Certainly the bread of life. What physical and symbolic acts do we do daily to take in the spirit for our growth and nurturing of body and soul? This I would like to explore more.

whew, The ground is rumbling. Earthquake in Jones. Maybe the feeling of time speeding up so much and going by so quickly is making waves in the crust of the earth?
Hang on tight things just keep getting faster.

reminders again of doing those things that need to be done. Do not put off or wait. Take the action that needs to be taken. Thinking too of action and place. where do I want to be and what relationships are nurtured. There is simply not enough time to fit in all the place I would like to fit with the time needed for each. Some things there fore get set aside. Not that those are not important it is just that the time is not available completely.

Focus. That thing that needs to be done. The moment and the task. singularity.

Morning Zen

For some reason thinking of the "how do you eat an elephant" question. One bite at a time they say. Reminding us we can not do everything at once and even the biggest task in front of us can be accomplished a little bit at a time.

Trust god
Clean house
Help others

This is one of those reminders sort of mantras to keep in thought and mind and in check. Driving today saw a truck with a license plate that said trstgd or something to that effect. Made me think of this saying. Trying to keep it in mind as I go through this day.
