Morning Zen

The Getting Things Done is a matter of changing mindsets. Falling into the patterns of old which dictate lack of movement. Developing new channels of thinking in order to produce outcomes different from standard. Lists. Activity. Priority. Not sure what next. Develop a method of comfort to the self to change.
Today, clean your workspace. Not sweep and dust but tidy. Throw away that which is not needed, file those those that need filed. Prepare now. The end of the year is near.

Morning Zen

Reminded last night of the story of the Frog and the Scorpion.
The frog is hopping along. Comes to the river. Frog is getting ready to jump in and go across when he hears the scorpion. The Scorpion asks for a ride across the river. Frog tells scorpion no, "you are a scorpion, I am not going to carry you across the river, you will sting me and kill me." Scorpion says, "no, why would I do that. Don't be silly I just need to get to the other side of the river and you alone can take me there." Frog, "well alright". He gets in the river and the scorpion climbs on top of his head. Swimming along about half way across the river the scorpion stings the frog on top of his head. The Frog says, "what did you do that for now we are both going to drown." The Scorpion says, "I am a scorpion."

supple trees. bend in the weight of the ice and wind. Trees in winter can not bear the change and break. Trees built for beauty and without substance can not manage and split down the center. Trees withstanding the test of time well maintained and nurtured survive damaged yet alive. And so the winter ice of our lives comes forth. Weather the storm my friends. Be supple in living and thought. Survive. Call upon the abhorist in your life to help.

There at the beginning. Those things to which we were exposed to. Shaping our lives the prejudices that inform us today are incorrect. Revisited the resistance is too strong to often allow a change, to let in new information. Entrenched within the psyche and can not break loose. Try today a green bean.

Brunch at Classen Grill

I forgot to get a photo. Decent french toast not the best but good. Classen potatoes were good. The Orange Juice is fresh squeezed. 12:45 just a five minute wait. Good breakfast fair and now worth putting into the brunch rotation.
