Sunday at the Wedge

It is custom. Habit. Dinner on Sunday at the Wedge. About 8:00 miss the crowd.

spinach salad. Prochutto wrapped pears with goat cheese, toast and spinach artichoke dip with cheese and truffle oil, and meatballs. Coffee.
It was a wonderous meal indeed.

Pop's

I ate at Pop's on Tuesday night. It is flip night when you can get half off your meal if you call the toss correctly. I did not not. Pictured is a Chicken Fried Steak. It was a very tasty meal. Nice crunchy breading, mashed potatoes, okra, and a salad. I had thought about giving up fried food for lint. Slowly I seem to be losing options in that area.

Rice Box $5.25. Bamboo shoots with pork. rice, spring roll, wonton, and egg drop soup. Very tastey. Full meal.

Highly recommend

The Wedge

Rachel is the best waitress in the place. Ask for her if you go. Granted last night we sat at the counter.

Purple tomatoes with fresh homemade motzarella cheese with olive oil and balsamic with basil on top. Whew! Then the chef roasts some veggies. First time I have eaten aspergrass. and then he sets up a orange/yellow watermellon wrapped in goat cheese and prochutto.

The coffee was good too.
Outstanding evening dining on a Sunday night at 9:00 at the Wedge. It is one of very few places open on Sunday, let along open late.

Dinner

For the past two hours I have been working and blowing glass and thinking. Primary thought...Dinner. Cattlemen's Steakhouse.
Secondary thought becoming the primary thought... the next girl who walks into the studio this evening and I will buy her dinner at Cattleman's. If it conforms to the will of the universe. Wondering what it means now that no girls have come into the studio and I either get to eat alone or not eat at all.

That rain was great. We need a little of that everyday.

Peace.

If you read this and show up at the studio by 8:30 you are probably going to get a little dinner out of me.

why do I have to shrink and go away so someone else gets to grow?"
