Technology tips and tricks on a regular basis. View this email in your browser Things to Come Riding the Digital Wave Greetings Sequoyah,  We all know things are about to change. Changes in the district, changes in the school, changes in technology, changes in curriculum. We just do not know what the changes are going to entail. How do we prepare for the unknown?  In looking at David Jakes website http://jakes.editme.com/9dots I started thinking about the experts in our building. Folks that have gone to conferences, attended EdCamps, took a wicked cool vacation. We need to tap the resources we have now to transform into what is to come.  Remember Andy's session on note taking? How do we adopt those notes into digital form for students to create, save, and share. Can we take our experiences like this and in small groups begin to develop resources for all our teachers? It is really time when we can no longer say I do not know how to do that yet, to I am learning how to do it now. We know best practices. It is time to revisit the prospect of implementing a class twitter account. This is a great way to share information with students, parents, teachers, and the administration. TTT - SAMR

Technology tips and tricks on a regular basis. View this email in your browser SAMR Redefine Our Lessons Greetings Sequoyah,  For some reason I think of a ham sandwich whenever I see SAMR. Maybe sam on rye? Or the way the model is stacked? Or maybe I am just hungry? Anyway.  Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition As we move forward into technology it will be necessary to look to SAMR as a pathway to change. How can we transform our teaching and our technology use to evolve to higher states.
