Daily Mediation:
Happiness is within. Happiness is effected by things on the outside but it is ultimately a state of mind and of being. Ownership in objects and ownership of others in our minds leads to disappointment, heartache, and pain. Grants that ownership also leads to great joy, love, and transcendence with another but in not owning, giving up those things, it seems that happiness comes and flows easier.
It is time we let go of our pain. It is time to let go of our anger. It is time to be filled with happiness and joy and peace and love. It is time to remember those things that shaped us and helped us grow but to be tied down to them no longer.
You are the change you want to see in the world. Just as you are the peace and happiness you want in your heart.
Let go of your fears and trust.

Daily Meditation:
Truth hurts so it is said. We know the truth, you speak the truth, you seek the truth. Does truth change? Is it evolving and growing and situational or is the truth firm and universal? Do we share truth with some and then with others only partial truths are known. To protect someone from the pain of the arrow we often times do not tell whole truth. Is the pain really lessened? temporary pain of the truth leads to the future pleasure of knowledge whereas the lessened pain in a partial or comfortable truth may lead to a future unrest.
I must interrupt to include in this discourse a thought to this day and what it is and what it brings.
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5784518 This is a link to a radio show called this I believe. Frank Miller is an artist and author. His work is beyond the pale of that which we know and he had ushered in a new era to the genre of comic book.Take a look at his words if you get the opportunity. Listen to his voice. It was a rare pleasure to hear. I think too then at truth we have what we know and believe and then something happens and those things change. We change through internal or external measures and then our truths and values and beliefs shift. We sometimes alter our whole being as a result of that event.
I am open for the truth today. I am ready for the truth. I am preparing myself, the flesh of my soul for the piercing barbs to come. I hope I am capable. I am. I hope I am willing. I am. I hope I can act upon the new truths. I can.

Daily Meditation:
Such is life. comedy or tragedy. Those things that occur to us make up who we are but we are not those things. Divorce, death, desertion don't make us bad or worthless or unlovable those things happen and make us human. Love, relationships, and family do not make us strong or whole or complete they do contribute to that who it is that we are. I am different in various situations. I play a role that fits a group or situation. It is not that I am not myself in each situation it is just that I am not my whole self. Parts remain buried or hidden and unseen. When the whole of who I am is exposed then I am vulnerable and scare and that fear holds me back. Learning to open the whole self is a task and in safe places with safe people it can be done. We all need safe places to really be who we are. So the role I play is not the whole or real me but the role is necessary to keep going.
I need to think more upon this.
Eternity
Lyrics: Willie Dixon
Music: Bob Weir, Rob Wasserman
Played by Bob Weir with the Dead, Ratdog and Weir/Wasserman
I'm lookin' out my window
I watch the clouds go by
I look to see eternity
The endless rolling sky
You cannot think of eternity
Think of it like time
You try to think, you try to count
You just mess up your mind
Eternity, eternity
Honey, I love you, you love me
Let's love each other through eternity
Since before man could see
There was eternity
After man is come and gone
Eternity lingers on, eternity lingers on
Everything crawl, creep, or fly
Just live until they die
I love you, honey you love me
Let's love each other through eternity
Eternity, eternity
I love you, you love me
Let's love each other through eternity
Through eternity
Well I think about life, we don't know
Whether it all could be in vain
Look through time, it's for sure
It's the greatest gift to man
Music and Love, you can't explain
Try and understand
The greatest thing could ever be
We make love through eternity
Make love through eternity
When the world think our defeat
Think that we are gone
We'll still have our place of peace
Our love will linger on, linger on
We won't care just what who said
If it's truth or lie
We'll still have our greatest gift
Our love won't ever die
Love won't ever die
Love won't ever die

Daily Meditation
This it seems is what it is all about. The state of being calm and balanced and in touch with the spirit of the universe. Going with the flow and letting the waters wash over us and carry us forward with complete trust in the process. Letting go of all those things that plague daily living and just accept where we are, who we are and where we are going. When this happens it just seems all is right with the world and our relationships within it. There are the times when I do step in and the ego takes over. Fear takes over. The lies I tell myself are there and come to the surface and the unhealthy thinking, acting and reacting take over and no longer am I centered and free and at peace. Those thoughts that lead to feelings that lead to actions that are all based on lies and misconceptions lead not to a place of understanding and growth but instead lead to a empty place. It is then necessary to change. To look at these things, yes to meditate upon them. To understand where they are coming from and thier nature. Evaluate the impact of them on daily living and be willing to either give them up altogether or change them or to keep them and keep going the way we have always gone. Through the meditation upon those forces I believe we will be able to make the changes that will help us to become that who it is we are supposed to be today.
Peace.

Daily Meditation:
Happy happy joy joy. Be happiness. Be the ball. This is a difficult one. after the melancholy of yesterday happiness is like a great oasis in the middle of the dessert of emotional vastness. Happiness is a retreat, a place to go inside for healing and peace. The Oja Cliente of the soul. We do not have to accept today everything coming from other people, that is when someone is in pain and suffering we do not have to take on all those things personally. Those things from another person are theirs. Empathy, care, listening, compassion yes; codependant, unhealthy, caretaking, fixing no. So as we do not contaminate ourselfs with the emotional garbage of the other. We are happiness.

Daily Meditation
That is what it is. We are the sum of our experiences. Walking through life events, situations, adventures, people, places, things, all manner of who we are comes from these encounters; these things are what make up the whole. Little bits of the other transferred into me. So I have all of these things within and what do I do with them. Typically nothing. but then I listen to others. Learn from their experiences? Is everything I am and believe just from experiential learning. That is to say and I wanted to get into this yesterday...
I believe that the relationship with creation is one that must be experienced. Our communion with the universe requires of us action. It is not just thought and prayer and listening to another; it is the active role we must play in order to fulfill our destiny within the whole of being. That is to say without action - faith without works is dead. The whole - if you are going to pray for potatoes you best have a hoe in your hand. Our being requires action. I did take little to no action for a long time. I am ready for action today. Maybe not ready but at least I am willing to do something different and willing to grow and willing to change and willing to accept the things that are necessary for that change. Preparing for the changes that are coming and trying to keep an open mind and heart and spirit to those changes and implement those into life. Implement. That is the application of those experiences into my life. to really apply the belief to my daily being and activity. Possible indeed. ready I am to go forth into the world and become the man I am supposed to be today. Ready to cast aside all the thinking and being that holds me back from the journey the walk to the center.
Thank you all for coming and reading and communing.

amidabuddha.org - Daily Meditation
Faith. Oppertunity knocks? The door is open the voices are calling and all that is needed is the faith to get up off the couch. What happens when faith is converted to knowledge. It is not longer necessary to have faith in existance when we know that existance.
