New Glory Hole

We have a new Glory Hole at Blue Sage Studios. It is go very sweet. It works very well. Roy bricked it and cast a ring and doors. They wrote Blue Sage in Playdough on the casting frame for the doors. Very cool.

We are blowing this Thursday after school. Drop by on your way home from work. HGTV's "That's Clever" will be coming on Saturday to film the process. Very cool.

Thursday, Memorial Day

Well, we began adding glass batch to the furnace last night. Yippee! We should have it cooked up and ready to go for blowing on Thursday evening. Drop by the studio and say hello. I look forward to seeing everyone.
We are planning on an informal open house at the studio on Memorial Weekend with glass blowing and ice cream and hanging loose.
On an esoteric note...
I moved a couple of heavy items in the studio the other day. My back is hurting now. I can see how the persistent pain in the body can effect the mind. That stress and pain is constant and as a result it clutters the mind. There is little respite for thinking on other things. Healing the body and the mind is important for whole living.

We are On!

The furnace is heating up. We turned on the Glory Hole today. We turned on the furnace today. It is all coming together nicely. If all continues to go well we will be blowing glass on Thursday evening. Drop by.

Thank you again to everyone who has given freely of their time and energy, minds, bodies and spirits to make this a new reality.

Coffee musings

With the coming dawn the illumination of the soul will guide us to a place of harmony and peace. Each of us rises to become that what it is we were meant to be. How does the process of living remove from us our higher nature? How can we cultivate and practice intentional existance?

Coffee Musings

Seattle has got little on Oklahoma these days. We have coffee but our distribution network is lacking. Our baristas with proper training are A rare commodity. Public transpo is relatively nonexistent. Chocolate is now a moot point. Hot glassblowing studios are almost operational. And it is raining.

Life

Life is to short for mediocre food or weak espresso.

Coffee Musings

Digging this blog posting via the phone. Rainy day, blessed day. So ready to be free from the bondage of self. That is, the letting go of the thoughts that chain me to stones of negativity. It is a moment to moment stream entering upon a tumultace tributary in my mind. Do wish i could text faster...

Dinner

I think now having to let go of ideas, expectations, desires, wants and needs. So going to dinner alone is painful. The wait, the thought of being with no one at intament moments when we are designed to be with others. Eating at its root is a communal event. It is our nature. And so if i forget to call you please drop me a line if you want company.

Isolation

We are promised the end of isolation, feeling today once connected and then totally seperate. Overwhelming sense of never melding with another again. desirous to and yet terrorfied.

the studio

why do I have to shrink and go away so someone else gets to grow?"
