Morning Zen

Sometimes I wonder about degrees of action/inaction. Speaking today with a friend we talked about spiritual life and fitness. Comfortable was a descriptor. Not feeling anxity about spiritual matters. Not feeling something more needs to be done. Not resting on the laurels as it were either. Not sure why comfort is uncomfortable. Constant vigilant action is probably not required. No it is required but instead of a burden it is freeing. Paradox. Once again.

Ever try something you expect to work and then find that the capabilities are not there to do that thing. Arrg. That is not a pirate Arrg but an Arrg of frustration.

Touchstones. What along the way reminds of where and are and where we are going and where we hope to be. Goals is not really to my liking. Setting goals was like setting my self up for failure. What if the goal was not reached at the time allotted. Realistic goals may have helped. Mini goals along the way to the desired end. Maybe too much of a laize fair attitude. Maybe goals that did not seem all that important to meet. So changes in attitude and definitions.

What a great holiday thus far. So good to be with friends and family and loved ones. It should be a wonderful month leading up to Christmas.

I learned to tie my shoelaces late. Sort of a point of shame. I had a stuffed doll named Daper Dan to practice learning on. I found this website today on how to tie your shoes.

What is it that a fourty minute wait at the counter of beverly's is okay? Breakfast on sunday last time great, this time complete disarray.
