Morning Zen

For some reason thinking of the "how do you eat an elephant" question. One bite at a time they say. Reminding us we can not do everything at once and even the biggest task in front of us can be accomplished a little bit at a time.

Movie Quote Friday

It is Friday once again. The winner of this fine quote will win an egg paperweight. The first commenter with the right character and movie wins.

"Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it."

Morning zen

Trust god
Clean house
Help others

This is one of those reminders sort of mantras to keep in thought and mind and in check. Driving today saw a truck with a license plate that said trstgd or something to that effect. Made me think of this saying. Trying to keep it in mind as I go through this day.

Tulips

In the yard, leaving the house this morning. Still not light enough out to get a good photo.

Truck

Well, it is a cause for celebration I suppose. I have paid off the truck. It is a 2005 Toyota Tacoma. I bought it in October of 2004. Think I will take it in for an oil change and to the car wash today too at lunch.
In December 2007 I took out a loan against the truck and the remainder of the payments. I paid off all my credit cards and debt with that loan.
Expect for the mortgage on the house I am now debt free. Now to figure out how to increase my monthly payment to the house loan and save some back each month for if/when the time comes to purchase a new vehicle.
Yes, to celebrate too I did get a new scarf.

Morning Zen

visualize, closing my eyes visualize a bright shining diamond shape floating. Radiating beauty. Peace.

Morning Zen

Wonderful. Chaco Time.
Morning meditation. Do you practice? How?

the studio

why do I have to shrink and go away so someone else gets to grow?"
