Coffee Musings

I am always amazed when I look up at night and see the moon is full. It is like I paid no attention to the wax and wane and already time moved a month forward and I did not.
Unwillingness or inability to take action to grow along spiritual lines. Daily maintanance is not growth or expansion. Tremendous disconnect between life and nature. I think that is one reason the oil spill hurts so much. The connection and bond to the gulf is so strong for so many people it is a part of the soul that is being ripped open and soiled. It is not a natural event a cleansing of earth but unknown and uncontrollable and so very painful to the psyche.

Floods

In Cordell we had a place called the Dead End. Huge gully that would fill up with water from two hills. Great place to go for a swim when the rains came down. Apparently it is not a good idea to swim in flood waters as per the Edmond PD. "Edmond PD now warning residents NOT to put their kids in floodwaters for a photo ops."
