Dave brought in some cookies. Me, trying to eat healthier and the will power to resist was simply not there. My good buddy Jim calls. Two weeks and i can not find the time to return his call. I scheduled an event and found out everything i was planning on coming together fell apart so i am unable to keep a commitment.

Back Channels are a platform or website where participants discuss the material in real time. There is a great article that came across my twitter feed today on Back Channels (http://www.edutopia.org/blog/backchannel-student-voice-blended-classroom-beth-holland).The article details the process of students writing during the class. It is not really note taking but more of a dialogue between all the students. As we move into the digital age in the classroom the Back Channel will become a valuable tool in our digital toolbox.
