News of the only constant in the universe.
I have a meeting yesterday with the district peoples. The curriculum of my class is to close to the newly required technology literacy class. It is back to the drawing board on what I am going to be teaching.
I am looking at free 3-d software. We have no budget. Any suggestions?
I can not teach any microsoft products due to overlap with the new class. I can not teach webpage design due to overlap at the high school level. I am not real sure what to teach. Any suggestions?

I looked at the Omniverse and thoughts on Karma. I am just not sure where to go on it.
We know there are powers n the universe and when we follow those powers certain things will occur. I wonder then when we do certain things are we trying to influence the way it goes. I have heard that when you give it away it will come back to you tenfold. If then we conscienously give it away with the goal of the tenfold return does that return still happen?
Selfless service to our fellow man.

I can not figure out how I get twelve pay checks in a year. The first paycheck of the "year" comes around Sept. 20. Then once a month after. In June three checks arrive, June 20, June 29, June 30. Have you ever tried to make it through July, August, and September? Ouch.
How can we get this to change?
And please don't say manage your money better el stupido.

Open House was tonight. What a hoot. It was really great fun. A lot of interest from parents. I was amazed by the numbers that showed. 8th grade not so much 7 and 6 a lot. It is good to go over the class in my head too. What do I like the most.
You can see some of the students in their parents too. That is really neat.

Hey kids, here is some of the work I have done with Mambo thus far. It is really a nice program once you figure it out. It was like something finally clicked after about a week or so. Let me know what you think.

I forgot to tell you what happened.
Yesterday I was sitting here. The bell rings. I think maybe I should get up now and teach something.
I look over and in walks the superintendent. I stand up and greet him. I look out into the classroom and about six people are playing solitare.
We chat a bit and he leaves. First hour can not play any games ever again.

Good afternoon good people. All is well. The beginning is the beginning and it is going the way all beginnings have been going for you all for the past couple of beginning weeks. The good things about beginnings is they do have an end even if that end comes in June, then only be begin to begin again. Things to do are stacked up and stacked up. slowly whittled down.
We are doing well all in all.
The glass studio had another controller go out on the bottom anneallehr. It will take about a week (fingers crossed) to get it fixed and going again. Hoping to get to blow some glass over the weekend.
Did I tell you about the covered walk way? We are sinking posts and going to cover them with steel fencing to grow vines over the top. There is about 120 feet of walkway. Five feet with cover then about 14 feet without and another five with cover. I will try to get some photos when it is complete or when we work again.
Off now to Lottinvilles to get some suppers.

Went out to mow tonight. I got about twenty minutes into the thing and the mower threw a belt. Third time we have had to have it serviced this summer. Our grass is knee high. I am ready to warn anybody against taking their machines for service at this particular location. Once the best place in town but no longer.
Ice Chick brings up the gulab jamun at the Taj. These little milk balls are da' bomb. The thick syrupy sauce has a bit of cardamon in it making it like the richest dessert ever. To those who have not been to the Taj you must go there now. Take a working lunch if you must. You know if I like it there is some question, but if Ice likes it - the place must be wonderful.

Hey hey, We ate at the Taj tonight. It is on N.W. Expressway before you get to MacAuthur. It is a grand buffet. Indian. It is perhaps some of the best ethnic food in town. I emplore you to go. $10 for one to go through all you can eats. It would be nice to all get together sometime there. Have a flash mob blog party.
