Overwhelmed. It is almost to much at this point. The solutions I have in mind. The thing that would be best are not necessarily the chosen way. Of course why would my way be better? I do not know that it would be. I do not see everything and every aspect. A limited prespective that is ofter eskew. With out seeing the whole it is easy to have a solution. And even easier to critize and complain out the others solution.
I need to spend a full weekend up here just working on computers getting things in good order once again. I just do not have the time nor do I feel that it is something I should devote a full weekend to doing and then if I do there will be another project.

Did i tell you about the Korean House? SW 29th and Sunnylane. Well east of Sunnylane about half a mile or so. Sort of next too and behind Arby's. Great food. Beef shortribs last night. Beef Bigogi is good a bit sweet on the sauce. The ribs were fantastic. The side dishes are to die for. KimChee. Sprouts. Go there if you get the chance.

I keep forgetting to turn on my Yahoo! IM. It conflicts on startup with our ZenWorks and new GroupWise so I had to turn off the auto startup feature and even tho it is on the desktop I forget to engage.
The new email is going to be a trip. It seems to be working now. I think we will get used to the new system with time. A lot of training needs to be conducted that is for sure.
The new k12 planet rolls out this week too. It is going to be difficult to say the least to get everyone on the same page.

Oh yeah, 42nd street Candy Co. I got a Valor dark chocolate with almonds. Should have skipped the nuts. Great candy bar. rich and full bodied. slightly bitter. Their Neuhaus is probably a little better. They do have the 85% Cocao from Lindt too.

Going and blowing. It was a great weekend. My brother came in from Santa Fe and we blew some good glass. A twelve hour day for me on Saturday. I can't drink enough water at this point. I know. Pictures are coming soon. I have my camera sitting right here.
Zack ordered two dozen MeltAway cookies from the Red Velvet Bakery on Second and Coltrane. You have heard me speak of the most excellent cookies from this great place. If you can you must try these Melt-Away's. They are going to be making some this next weekend for a party and usually make extra for the public. They are hard to come by. Worth it. so very worth it.
Did I tell you I could not find the El Rey Chocolates at the Cresant Market. They had never heard of them. But they did have the best selection of Lindt Chocolates. The dark chocolate with Hazelnuts is most excellent.

This is the art work I have submitted for the 12x12. It is called "The Bowl of the Fisher King". I was watching Six Feet Under the Claire was talking about nameing art. The next day Julia asked what I wanted to name this piece. Fisher in homage to the show. but then the rest just to sound a little mystical.

Rococo's. Going out after work? You all have got to try Rococo's. Down on 28th and Penn. It is the best new place around. Try the Cookie's - sort of an Italian Tapa. I had the Chicken Breast Milianase. It was great. Decent Ceaser Salad - real anchovies on top. Get the Canoli for dessert. It is so very good. Two large shells filled with delicious rocotta cheese one with chocolate and one with pistachios. For you drinkers the bar looked like a nice place to hang and enjoy in a quite atmosphere. They have a website. It is worth planning a trip to dine here.

Sound bite philosophy.
Last night a friend was going to cover a roof he is working on due to the impending rain. One of the group says something like, “Well, what about prayer”. If you pray for the rain not to come it won’t come? My response was “what about the hoe in you hand.” You know that if you are going to pray for potatoes you better have a hoe in your hand. In other words there is work to be done the potatoes do not just grow. The Builder on the roof said “God rains on the just and the unjust.”
It got me thinking about sound bite philosophy. We live in a sound bite age. We do not listen to the whole of the work. As a society we take a bit out. The part that sounds good. The part we like. The part that damages the speaker or others. It is almost the instant gratification in words.
So where in our philosophy do we lose the whole of the message for a sound bite? Granted everyone refers to Nietzsche and “God is Dead” but very few know to which Fred was referring, let alone how many have sought out the work and read the text. Out of context from the whole it seems absurd.
So like our society we struggle with the things around us. Not because they are too big but because we have taken them down and made them to small. Easy to eat but hard to digest.
Remember to grow today.

If you get the chance you need to see the new oil lamps we are blowing. They are great fun and really endless in the possibilities. I need to remember to find some wicks for them... searching now. Been trying to remember that all day. Hobby Lobby has wicks but they are expensive.
It is crazy training. I feel for you good people who have to do this sort of thing on a daily basis. I wonder why people feel the need to ask a question that is about to be covered. If they could just wait one moment all their questions would be answered. Why put everyone else through that pain?
I got a hair cut on Thursday. I am not really happy with it. Can you go back and get it trimmed up? When is the cut off day for that to occur? Do you have to tip again?
Time for a Shake's Chocolate Malt. Maybe a Braum's Cappichino Chunky Chocolate Frozen Yogurt.
I do need to get down to Cresent Market (63rd and Western) they are supposed to have some good Chocolate there made by El Ray.
