The future... that is where the mind has been centered. The things to come. Anticipating the results of future events yet to occur and outcomes unknown. Easy to focus on the future in order to ignore the moment. Stop, relax, breathe...

The mental gyrations of the future. Those things that have the possibility to be. The unknown but foreseen. Causing the mind to twist with outcomes based on faulty reasoning. In the moments of clarity and calm the mind is silenced and the moment clear. Sneaking in those thoughts collide and the moment is replaced with the future and the past.

Finding now in the past few days that which is thought and that which is felt and that which is reality really make little difference in the way. Those three and perhaps other influences come together and intermingle and yet they can all be different or the same or not even noticed. Once again holding onto the past the events that tainted. Day's stand out as markers in life the the events of that day corrupt or enlighten that day forevermore. Anniversaries as it were of life events, needing to be rid of the residue of the past and wash clean the psyche of those days.

And so it goes. We say do the next right thing. How does one know the next right thing. How to choose the direction for the next. Where is inspiration? Keep thinking that thing will simply appear and I will know. Questioning that today. It has not shown yet, will it?

Brunch at Sophabella's

Happy Mother's Day too all.

We had the brunch buffet at Sophabella's. Very good. Fresh and tasty. A bunch of the family was there. Thank you all for dining and thanks to dad for picking up the check.

I do not understand how this works. They say our economy is in dire straits and people have no money and all of that. But then they say that presidential candidates are making nearly two and a half million dollars a day in donations.
