Great post. Got me thinking tho. Maybe Starbucks is going to become like the Crayon. It is a brandname but there are other crayons out there. So instead of people saying lets go to the coffee shop they will say lets go to Starbucks, but really mean lets meet up at coffee slingers?

Except that when I say Crayon I'd prefer an actual Crayola brand Crayon. Everything else--take this from a parent of small kids--is colored wax.
